Chevrolet Cobalt production rises in Uzbekistan, Damas declines

In January 2025, Uzbekistan produced 5,700 Chevrolet Cobalt vehicles, marking a 68% increase compared to the same period last year. Meanwhile, Damas production decreased by 28.5%, down to 2,800 units.

KIA, Chevrolet Onix, and Tracker models also showed notable production numbers. Haval production surged sixfold, reaching 373 vehicles, while 802 BYD cars were assembled.

Overall, passenger car production declined by 4.4%, totaling 15,000 units. The production of specialized vehicles dropped by 32.4%, while truck production fell by 29.3%, with only 152 trucks manufactured.
