2026 Toyota Crown debuts in US with hybrid, AWD

Toyota has unveiled the 2026 Crown sedan for the US market, SpeedMe.ru reported. The update is mostly formal, as the exterior and technical specifications mirror the current model. All versions come exclusively with hybrid powertrains and all-wheel drive.

The base hybrid setup includes a 2.5-liter gasoline engine paired with two electric motors. The flagship Hybrid Max version features a 2.4-liter turbo engine with rear electric drive, delivering 340 hp (400 Nm).

Four trims are planned: XLE, Limited, Nightshade, and Platinum. The top-tier Platinum trim stands out with adaptive AVS suspension, premium interior, and expanded features.

Inside, drivers will find two 12.3-inch displays, Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, and over-the-air update support for the multimedia system.
