Unexpected turn in the auto market in Uzbekistan

In January-March 2025, 75,353 cars were sold in Uzbekistan, Uzavtosanoat reported.

UzAuto Motors retained the largest share - 54.3 percent. However...

Chevrolet brand sales amounted to 62,260 units - 20 percent less than last year. That is, a decrease from 77,100 units last year.

At the same time, other brands have seen growth:

• KIA – 5,431 units (54.5% growth)
  
• BYD – 4,045 units (22.6% growth)
  
• Names such as CHERY, HAVAL, ISUZU are also strengthening their positions in the market.
  

Interestingly, more than 82% of all models on sale are produced by just three companies - UzAuto Motors, Khorezm Auto and ADM Jizzakh.

These figures indicate that new competing brands and trends are emerging in the auto market. Consumers are no longer limited to traditional models in their choice.
