South Korea's popular group BTS is entering a new phase after completing military service. Now that all members have returned from the army, the group is resuming activities and has started working on a new album. However, the creative process is not as smooth as expected, reports Pravilamag.
During a recent livestream, group members Jungkook and Jimin announced that the new album is planned for release in spring 2026. At the same time, Jungkook openly shared his passionate but concerned feelings:
"Now, whatever happens, we have to release something. Right?" he said.
Jimin added: "We can’t postpone it any longer. We waited too long after the army. I honestly don’t know with which song we’ll return."
Jungkook said: "Honestly, I’m a bit worried. I don’t even know the album’s name. Really — I don’t know."
According to Jungkook, working on new material is proving difficult. He called himself a realist, which affects his creative process:
"I’m a realist. I can’t write like Namjoon-hyung (RM). He’s poetic, and I’m straightforward. Words just don’t come easily."
This shows that BTS is entering a new era not simply, but with great responsibility and high expectations. The group feels not only the pressure of fans but also their own creative search.
The album expected next spring will be BTS's first major release since the 2022 compilation “Proof.” So far, the album’s name, concept, or main theme remains unknown. But the group has already started working and is striving for the grand comeback that fans await. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
