Lady Gaga is joining the second season of Netflix’s hit series Wednesday, not only as an actress but also as a music contributor. The singer has written an original song titled “Dead Dance” that will be featured in the upcoming episodes.
According to Variety, both the song and its black-and-white music video will be released on September 3, coinciding with the premiere of the season’s second part. The first part of the season is scheduled for August 6. The song was co-produced by Andrew Watt and Cirkut, who previously collaborated with Gaga on her 2025 album “Mayhem.”
In addition to her musical contribution, Gaga will portray Rozalina Rothwood — a legendary teacher at Nevermore Academy. Her role was first teased during the Netflix Tudum event, where she closed the show with a powerful live performance.
