The final part of the popular horror franchise "The Conjuring: Last Rites" became the most successful horror film of 2025. The film broke box office records, grossing $400 million worldwide: $151.2 million in the domestic market and $248.8 million in international box office. Thus, 62% of the total revenue came from foreign rental.
Ryan Kugler's vampire film "The Sinners" hit the top spot with $366.7 million, while "Final Destination: Blood Ties" earned $313 million. "Weapons" took fourth place with $263.4 million. Interestingly, "The Sinners," as an original horror film, is generating the highest revenue outside the franchise.
Director Michael Chavez completed the main plot of the "The Conjuring" franchise. Demonologists Ed and Lorraine Warren must protect their family from a new evil. Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga returned to their roles, continuing a decade-long story.
