Renowned Italian actor Remo Girone has died in Monaco at the age of 77, ANSA news agency reports.
The famous artist has acted in more than 50 films and TV series during his creative career. However, the character that made her known to the whole world was the role of Tano Cariddi in the series "Sprut." This character appeared in the third season of the series, participating in a dramatic struggle with Commissioner Cattani (Mikele Placido) and Judge Sylvia Conti (Patricia Millarde).
Girone was active not only in Italian but also in Hollywood cinema. He collaborated with such famous directors as James Mengold and Antoine Foucault.
In one of his last interviews, he recalled his first role - the character of Raskolnikov in "Crime and Punishment," noting that he later reflected the inner experiences of this same character in the image of Tano Cariddi.
