American actor Jim Carrey will receive the "Caesar" honorary award, Deadline reports. The award ceremony will take place on February 17, 2026.
After appearing in popular films like "The Truman Show" and "The Mask," Carrie accepted the award on the stage of the Olympic Theatre in Paris. He is recognized by the French Academy of Film Arts and Technologies for his enormous contribution to cinema.
According to the institution, Kerry's screen and off-screen activities remind viewers that cinematography can be not only entertaining but also impactful, spiritual, and inspiring.
It is also noted that his creative path "demonstrates the courage to constantly expand the boundaries of art" and reminds that "mastery should not be limited to just one type of art."
Previously, the "Caesar" honorary award was also presented to stars such as Julia Roberts, Christopher Nolan, David Fincher, Kate Blanchett, Robert Redford, and George Clooney.
