Two fairy tales are competing for leadership in Russian distribution

A real battle of fairy tales has begun in the Russian film industry - the fantasy film "Gorinich" with the participation of Alexander Petrov surpassed another high-profile project, "Alice in Wonderland."

According to the EAEU, during the first weekend, Gorinich earned more than 338 million rubles, and the total amount of fees exceeded 358 million. Such a result allowed the painting to confidently take first place in rolling and squeeze out the competitor, despite the fact that both premieres were released almost simultaneously.

The film "Alice in Wonderland," based on an audio play with lyrics from the famous fairy tale by Lewis Carroll and Vladimir Vysotsky, began with a total of 337 million rubles. The film, starring Anna Peresild, featured many stars, and the advertising campaign promised the film a hit status. However, "Gorinich" unexpectedly took the lead and became a favorite of the audience during the first weekend of autumn.
