According to NBC, this agreement was signed with Primary Wave on December 30, 2025, and its value is estimated at approximately $200 million.
Primary Wave is one of the leading companies in the music industry that owns the legacy of famous artists. He has also previously purchased catalogs of artists such as Bob Marley, Prince, Whitney Houston, Stevie Knicks, Aerosmith, and The Doors.
In recent years, famous musicians have started selling their music catalogs for large sums. Sting, Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd, and Queen have made substantial financial gains through such deals. In particular, Queen's catalog was sold to Sony for $1.27 billion.
