Naftali Bennett: Internal crisis in Israel is intensifying

Naftali Bennett has highlighted the growing internal crisis within Israel's political and social systems, warning that the country's stability is increasingly weakening and the risk of fragmentation is rising. He noted that while Israel controls certain territories, it lacks the resources to maintain them, leading to potential abandonment. Bennett also addressed issues of inequality, pointing out that nearly 100,000 young ultra-Orthodox individuals are exempt from military service, exacerbating social injustice. He emphasized that the significant financial support provided to this group by the state is fueling public discontent and tensions, warning that without reforms, the situation could worsen.
Naftali Bennett has emphasized that serious problems are intensifying within Israel's internal political and social systems. According to him, the country's stability is becoming increasingly fragile, and a risk of "fragmentation" is emerging in certain areas.
The former prime minister stated that Israel takes control of certain territories but lacks sufficient resources and strength to maintain them. As a result, it is becoming necessary to withdraw from these areas again.
Bennett also addressed the issue of inequality within society. In his view, approximately 100,000 young and healthy ultra-Orthodox citizens are exempt from military service, which is exacerbating social injustice.
He noted that the allocation of significant financial aid by the state to this group is also increasing public dissatisfaction and tension.
Bennett assessed these situations as a disruption of the balance within Israel's internal system and stressed that if reforms are not implemented, the situation could become even more complicated.
