Record in Uzbekistan's foreign trade: 2.4-fold growth, 85 countries, new markets!

The prestigious Spanish publication El Mundo Financiero, specializing in financial and economic analysis, published an article recognizing that Uzbekistan's foreign trade turnover increased by 2.4 times in 2017-2023. This analysis extensively covered the processes of openness in the country's economic policy, diversification of exports, and orientation towards new markets.

According to data, in 2023, Uzbekistan exported a wide range of products to foreign markets, including precious metals, textile and yarn products, copper, and automotive components, as well as fruits and vegetables.

Comparative advantage: Uzbekistan in the world market

The article also noted that Uzbekistan is becoming a global leader in a number of strategic products, indicating that exports of pure cotton yarn are 172% higher than those of other countries, silk fabrics by 85%, molybdenum by 79%, wheat flour by 65%, and grape products by 39%.

Last year, Uzbekistan entered the markets of more than 10 new countries - including Australia, Singapore, New Zealand, Colombia, and Indonesia. Today, our country's products find buyers in 85 countries.
