Uzbekistan to increase pensions, salaries and benefits from July 1
Starting July 1, 2025, Uzbekistan will implement new pension, salary, benefit, and scholarship rates, reports UPL.uz. The changes are part of a presidential decree signed by Shavkat Mirziyoyev, aiming to support the population and improve living standards.

From July 1:
• Pensions and social benefits will increase by an average of 10%.
• Minimum age pension — 918,000 soums.
• Disability pension — 1,012,000 soums.
• Support for low-income families — 420,000 soums.

For families with children:
• under 3 years old — 360,000 soums,
• ages 3–18 — 275,000 soums,
• second child — 165,000 soums,
• third and each additional child — 110,000 soums.

From July 1, the base pension calculation amount will rise to 471,000 soums.

From August 1:
• Minimum wage (MROT) — 1,271,000 soums.
• Base calculation value — 412,000 soums.

The decree also includes an increase in student scholarships, though specific figures aren’t stated — they will grow proportionally with other payments.
