Europe cannot support Ukraine forever — Erdogan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed doubt that European countries are capable of providing Ukraine with continuous assistance.

In an interview with Fox News, the head of state assessed the situation from an economic perspective.

“If we look at the issue from a financial point of view, it becomes clear that Ukraine cannot compete with Russia economically. However, Europe is continuing to provide it with various support. In my opinion, this aid cannot last forever,” Erdogan said.

According to him, it is unlikely that European countries will be able to provide Ukraine with unlimited economic support in the long run.
