In January 2026, a total of 2,570 tons of tea were imported into Uzbekistan from 14 foreign countries. The total value of this import amounted to 3.8 million US dollars.
According to the National Statistics Committee, tea imports decreased compared to the same period last year. In particular, compared to January 2025, the volume decreased by 421 tons.
According to the report, the largest volume of tea was supplied to Uzbekistan from China - 2,122 tons. Kazakhstan (123 tons), Iran (113.4 tons), Kenya (97.6 tons), and Indonesia (41.8 tons) are also among the main suppliers.
The remaining 72.3 tons of tea were imported from other countries. These indicators show that the demand for tea in the country remains high.
