During the first three months of 2026, 89 major foreign companies providing electronic services in Uzbekistan paid a total of 65.7 billion UZS in taxes. It is noteworthy that this figure has increased by a staggering 81 percent compared to the same period last year. This indicates how rapidly the digital services market is developing in our country.
The "top three" in tax payments
Global IT giants traditionally lead the list of companies that have directed the most funds to the Uzbekistan budget:
Apple: Became the absolute leader with 16.1 billion UZS in three months.
Google: Transferred 14.9 billion UZS for its search engine and other services.
Meta (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp): The social media owner contributed 13.9 billion UZS.
The contribution of artificial intelligence and entertainment services
Modern technologies, particularly the field of artificial intelligence, are also reflected in tax revenues. The company OpenAI , founder of the famous ChatGPT, paid 2.5 billion UZS, and its competitor Anthropic paid 1.5 billion UZS in taxes. A favorite among gamers, Valve Corp. (Steam platform), contributed 8 billion UZS to the budget.
Performance of other well-known brands
A number of other popular platforms are on the list, and their figures are as follows:
Midasbuy (payment service for games) — 1.3 billion UZS;
TikTok — 868.3 million UZS;
Booking.com — 694.7 million UZS;
Netflix — 570.4 million UZS.
These figures are not just economic indicators; they also show which digital services our fellow citizens are using the most.
