Zelimkhon Khaidarov has been appointed Deputy Chairman of the Tennis Federation of Uzbekistan. This was reported by the federation's press service.

Zelimkhon Khaidarov served as the head of the office of the first President of Uzbekistan, Islam Karimov, for 23 years (1993-2016), and later worked in the same position in the Presidential Administration (2016-2018). Since August 2018, he has been working as the head of the Finance and Economics Department of the Presidential Administration.

Iroda Tulaganova, who has been the Secretary General of the Federation since 2019, has also been appointed Deputy Chairman.

Iroda Tulaganova is an Honored Athlete of Uzbekistan, a seven-time winner of the WTA tournament. She is the owner of the "Shukhrat" medal and the "Uzbekistan Iftikhori" breastplate.

Numon Sattarov and Aziz Khamidov, who worked as experts at Buyuk Kelajak and the chief specialist of the methodology department of the State Investment Committee in Tashkent, were also appointed as deputy heads of the Tennis Federation.

Sardor Kamilov took the post of the new secretary general of the organization.

Recall that on February 17, the founder of "Kapitalbank" and former president of the Pakhtakor football club, Botir Rakhimov, was elected chairman of the Tennis Federation of Uzbekistan.
