In the “initiative budget” projects that require mandatory voting are excluded from the voting stage
In the “Initiative Budget”, projects that have collected mandatory votes will be excluded from the voting stage. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy and Finance.

As it turned out, cases of mandatory voting were observed in secondary school No. 37 in the Kuva district of the Fergana region. When the case was investigated by the relevant authorities, it was confirmed that employees at this school were indeed involved in mandatory voting.

Therefore, the Ministry of Economy and Finance sent a proposal to the district council of people's deputies to exclude projects that have collected mandatory votes at this school from the voting stage.

“If you encounter situations of forced voting, we ask you to immediately call the Ministry of Poverty Reduction and Employment’s hotline (71) 200-06-00,” the ministry said in a statement.

The ministry also recalled that forced voting is classified as forced labor as part of the “Initiative Budget” process.
