The presidential decree "On additional measures to increase the efficiency of land use in agriculture and increase the volume of production" was adopted.
According to the decree, the following procedures will be introduced for leasing all types of agricultural land from March 11, 2025:
- the period for publishing a notice on holding an electronic online auction will be reduced from 15 to 5 days, and in repeated auctions - from 5 to 1 day;
- in the event that only one applicant submits an application in repeated auctions, he will be offered to voluntarily purchase the lot at the price announced in this auction;
- at each re-bidding, the lot price will be gradually reduced by 10% until it reaches 20% of the starting price.
From April 1, 2025, the procedure for paying installments for the right to lease a land plot at auctions and providing discounts upon full payment will be canceled, and it was determined that these payments must be paid in full within 15 working days.
In 2025-2026, an average of 10-20% of the total area of agricultural land put up for auction will be put up for auction with the condition of planting fodder crops for livestock.
