Record Child Support Payment Made in Tashkent

A new record for child support payments was set in Tashkent, reports uznews.uz. A man in the Yashnobod district paid 1.78 billion UZS (approx. $140,000) in advance for the support of his nearly one-year-old son. The amount covers expenses until the child reaches adulthood.

According to the Enforcement Bureau, this is the largest single child support payment made by an individual in Uzbekistan.

Previously, in September 2023, a woman paid 1.748 billion UZS to her ex-husband for the support of three underage children (ages 3, 4, and 6), setting the former record. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
