Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited the Hazrati Khizr complex in Samarkand

On April 23, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and the national leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov jointly visited the Hazrat Khizr complex and paid tribute to the memory of Islam Karimov. Flowers were laid at the grave. The Quran was recited.

They also jointly participated in cultural events organized on the territory of the "Eternal City" historical and ethnographic park at the "Silk Road Samarkand" international tourism center.

The distinguished guest got acquainted with exhibitions, examples of handicrafts and applied arts reflecting the rich cultural heritage of the Uzbek people. A cultural program was presented, including performances by dance groups.
