
The government of Uzbekistan has decided to provide interest-free loans of up to 40 base calculation units (approximately 15 million UZS) to participants of the Work and Travel program, reports Kursiv Media.
Annually, up to two thousand students will be eligible for this opportunity. To obtain the loan, participants must submit an application through public service centers or the electronic portal. The application should include a visa, income information, and an employment contract.
Upon approval, the loan must be repaid within one month after returning to Uzbekistan.
Work and Travel is one of the most popular student exchange programs, allowing students to work and travel abroad.
