On May 4, information surfaced on social media about a 7th-grade student being forcibly shaved bald at a private school in Tashkent, reports Nova24.uz. The Tashkent City Department of Preschool and School Education commented on the incident.
According to reports, the incident occurred on April 28, 2025, at Sharjah School. The school administration had reprimanded the 7th-grade student for having long hair. On April 27, the student's parents were called to the school for a discussion.
