
In Uzbekistan, a man has been sentenced to 16 years in prison for murdering an acquaintance who repeatedly asked him to repay a $10,000 debt, reports Uz24.uz. The crime took place in 2018.
According to court documents, the convict had purchased grapes worth $10,000 from the victim but failed to pay on time. After multiple reminders, a dispute broke out, which resulted in the victim’s murder.
Late at night, the killer returned to the scene with a shovel from home, dug a pit, and buried the body. The body was discovered by law enforcement 22 days later, on November 13. The court sentenced the man to 16 years behind bars. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
