Woman fatally stabs 3-year-old girl in Surxondaryo
On May 1, in Denov district of Surxondaryo region, a woman registered at a mental health facility fatally stabbed a 3-year-old girl with a kitchen knife, reports Uz24.uz. The child was taken to the hospital but died from her injuries.

According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, the suspect has been detained in accordance with procedural law. A criminal case has been initiated under Article 97 of the Criminal Code (intentional murder).

An investigation is currently ongoing.
