A selfie turned into a tragedy in Yunusabad: children trying to take a photo on top of the train were electrocuted
A dangerous selfie attempt by two teenagers ended tragically in the Yunusabad district of Tashkent. According to the Millar TV channel, the incident occurred on the railway line passing through the district.

According to witnesses, the two teenagers, out of curiosity, wanted to climb onto the top of the train car to take a picture. However, when one of them rose about a meter above the ground, a powerful explosion occurred due to the influence of high-voltage electricity, and the teenager was engulfed in flames. The injured boy was left hanging from the iron steps next to the train car.

Witnesses to the incident immediately called an ambulance. Medical workers who arrived at the scene took the two injured teenagers to the hospital. One of them was hospitalized with minor injuries, while the second teenager is in critical condition and is currently being treated in the intensive care unit.

The competent authorities have launched an investigation into the incident. A detailed investigation is underway into the causes of the incident and how it happened.

Experts and representatives of law enforcement agencies urge young people and adolescents to strictly follow safety rules on the railway. Because high-voltage electricity is extremely dangerous and can pose a serious threat to human life even without directly touching the top of the car.

The Zamin.uz editorial team will monitor the details of this incident and provide additional information to students in a timely manner. At the same time, we once again ask parents and teachers to conduct serious explanatory work on safety issues for children.
