
During an operational operation conducted by the employees of the Tashkent regional department of the State Security Service (SSS) in cooperation with the internal affairs bodies, synthetic drugs imported into Uzbekistan from Kazakhstan were detected.
It was noted that medical equipment belonging to 2 citizens born in 1983 and 1988, residents of the Kurgan-tepa district of Andijan region, who entered through the Navoi border customs post, was examined. As a result, it was revealed that 4.206 kg of Mephedrone and 3.970 kg of Alpha-PVP synthetic drugs, with a total value of 1 million US dollars, were hidden inside them.
The operational operation was also continued, and 5 citizens born in 1992, 1993, 1995 and 2000, residents of Tashkent city and region, who were involved in this case, were also detained. It turned out that they were carrying out the instructions of a Russian citizen involved in drug trafficking via the Telegram messenger.
In another case, uncovered at the Navoi border customs post, a person hired by a Kyrgyz citizen born in 1980 as a driver was stopped and checked while importing a gas stove from Kazakhstan to Uzbekistan. As a result, it was found that the gas stove contained 1.985 kg of the synthetic drug "Alpha-PVP", which was processed in a procedural manner. In addition, an urgent measure was continued, and a person born in 2006, who was a resident of Tashkent at the time of receiving this drug, was detained with material evidence.
Criminal cases have been initiated under Articles 246 and 273 of the Criminal Code in both cases, and investigative actions are underway. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
