The government of Uzbekistan is implementing serious support measures to increase the flow of foreign tourists to the country and further boost the tourism sector. For this purpose, by Presidential decree, starting from January 1, 2024, part of the expenses of tour operators and air carriers for charter flights from foreign countries to the international airports of Samarkand, Bukhara, and Urgench is reimbursed by the state.

How much is reimbursed?
If a foreign tourist stays at least 5 nights in Uzbekistan, the tour operator receives a subsidy of 20 US dollars, and during the winter season (from November 20 to February 20) — 50 dollars. This payment applies to each tourist.
