Those who collected money under the pretext of an interview were detained in Tashkent: the Main Department of Internal Affairs gave an explanation

The Main Department of Internal Affairs of Tashkent city commented on the video that was circulated on social networks, in which several individuals were seen interviewing citizens and, under various pretexts, collecting money from them in a fraudulent way.

It is reported that on July 5, in one of the parks of Chilanzar district, 21-year-old Sh.S., 24-year-old S.S., and 20-year-old T.A., using the pretext of conducting interviews with citizens, communicated with them and, under the reasons such as building a mosque, helping people with disabilities, and similar, collected money from them by fraudulent means.

As a result of prompt measures taken, the identities of these individuals were established, and the cash funds were confiscated from them as material evidence in the presence of witnesses.

Currently, in relation to this situation, a preliminary investigation is being conducted by the Chilanzar District Department for Coordination of Internal Affairs Bodies. According to the results of the investigation, a legal decision will be made in the prescribed manner. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
