In the Kashkadarya region, an event occurred that may go down in history as an example of humanity and bravery. On July 16, 2025, around 16:20, traffic police inspector Nodir Mirzayev, who was on duty near the "Karshi Main Canal" passing through Karshi district, noticed a citizen whose life was in danger in the water.
The officer, without hesitation and without even having time to remove his uniform, jumped into the water. Thanks to his decisive action, the person at risk of drowning was saved. First aid was immediately administered, and the individual was taken to the hospital. According to official information, the person is currently in good condition and under medical supervision.
It is also reported that another individual — Maruf Choriyev — jumped into the water and actively participated in the rescue. His cooperation and generous heart helped save another life.
According to information shared by the Traffic Safety Service, Mirzayev’s actions were highly praised, and such examples clearly demonstrate how true public servants should act.
The public reacted positively to the incident. Society has gained more confidence that “as long as we have such devoted people, our country’s safety is strong.” On social media, the officer is being called a “hero” and a “guardian angel.”
