Five kilograms of drugs found in Spark car in Yunusabad

A special operation carried out swiftly in the Yunusabad district of Tashkent city has sparked public attention. During the event conducted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the State Security Service, a Spark-brand passenger car was unexpectedly stopped, and highly dangerous substances were discovered inside.

During this inspection operation, jointly organized by the internal affairs and security services, the Spark car was stopped on the street and searched in the presence of inspecting officers and special witnesses. Unexpectedly, five separate polyethylene packages were found in the front part of the car. It was determined that these packages contained a total of five kilograms of narcotic substances.

This fact was officially documented in the presence of witnesses, and the substances were immediately seized. Preliminary assumptions suggest that these narcotic substances were intended for distribution. However, thanks to rapid action, their spread to the intended recipients was prevented.

Investigative procedures were immediately initiated regarding the substances, which were photographed and registered as evidence. It was determined that the detained individual was not acting alone. His accomplice and his residential address were soon identified.

In the next stage of the investigation, the house of the second suspect was also searched, where another six packages of various types of narcotic substances were found. It is assumed that these substances also came from illegal circulation.

As a result, a total of 5 kilograms and 370 grams of narcotics were prevented from being distributed. Considering this was just one operation, it highlights how serious the drug-related problem remains today.

A criminal case was opened under Article 273, Part 5 of the Criminal Code. Both individuals were taken into custody as a preventive measure, and the investigation process continues.
