On August 11, after midnight, an unexpected fire incident occurred at the famous Uch Kahramon market, located in the Tashkent district. According to the official information released by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the first report about the fire was delivered to the duty department of the Tashkent regional MES at 02:22 local time.
As soon as the report was received, the territorial fire and rescue services were brought into emergency action, and the alerted crews arrived at the scene of the incident in only 7 minutes. In order to increase the assistance forces, a total of 10 fire and rescue crews were involved in the operation.
According to the MES, as a result of prompt actions, the fire was completely contained at 03:24, and the spread of the burning process to the dangerous area was not allowed. After about an hour and a half, more precisely at 04:46, the fire was completely extinguished.
It was noted that during the incident no one received bodily injuries. At the same time, it was reported that investigative work to determine the causes of the incident has been started by the relevant services.
