An argument between a drunk customer and a store owner turned into a fight

In Andijan region, an incident has sparked heated discussions among local residents. On July 27, in a small shop located in the “Uzbekistan” mahalla of Marhamat district, a conflict between an intoxicated customer and the shop owner escalated into a serious quarrel, the regional DIA press service reported.

According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred in the evening when the customer entered the shop intending to purchase necessary goods. However, due to his intoxicated state, his behavior was reportedly sharp and disrespectful. During the transaction, a verbal dispute arose, which within minutes escalated into a physical confrontation.

Law enforcement officers promptly arrived at the scene. They calmed both parties and began examining the details of the incident. According to the forensic medical examination, one of the participants sustained minor injuries that did not cause harm to health. The other participant was found to have no bodily injuries.

Currently, a pre-investigation inquiry is being conducted regarding this conflict. According to officials, the decision on whether to initiate a criminal case will be made based on the results of the inquiry.

Local residents and social media users have expressed different opinions about the incident. Some consider it a negative consequence of alcohol abuse, while others emphasize that in such conflicts, shop staff should also remain patient and try to resolve the situation peacefully.

At the same time, law enforcement authorities call on the public to resolve disputes without violence and remind them of the importance of maintaining communication culture in any disagreements.
