On August 12, in the Bektemir district of Tashkent, in the Abay mahalla, a fire broke out in a multi-storey building, causing some panic among local residents. The report of the fire in one of the apartments on Rohat Street was received by the Emergency Situations Service at 11:57.
According to the information, 3 fire-rescue crews and 2 fire trucks with ladders, equipped with all necessary technical equipment, were dispatched to the scene. They arrived at 12:06 and managed to fully contain the fire in just 6 minutes.
As a result of the fire, the apartment's furniture and approximately 20 square meters of its area were damaged. It is noted that no information has been received about casualties or people with injuries, which is considered good news.
It should be noted that such prompt actions earned the respect of many. According to the residents of the mahalla, the timely extinguishing of the fire prevented major losses and additional damage.
The Emergency Situations Service emphasized that in the future, in order to prevent such incidents, various preventive measures, explanations of safety rules, and fire prevention steps will continue to be carried out among the population.
