Driver in Tashkent fined for touching female passenger

In Tashkent, a driver was detained after harassing a female passenger. Reports say he touched the woman’s face and chest with his hands, committing an indecent and sexual act.

The incident was immediately reported to law enforcement authorities. During the court hearing, the man, identified as J.I., was found guilty under Article 41-1, Part 1 of the Administrative Responsibility Code, which addresses harassment.

The court sentenced him to 5 days of administrative arrest. Experts highlight that such measures are crucial to protecting women’s rights and preventing indecent behavior in society.
