On August 28, an unexpected incident occurred in the city of Tashkent. Information spread on social networks that an electric car caught fire near a residential building on Bunyodkor Street in the Chilanzar district, sources reported.

The capital’s Emergency Situations Department commented on this event. According to them, the fire and rescue services quickly arrived at the site and, taking the situation under control, completely extinguished the fire by 08:19. No losses or casualties were recorded.

According to the data, the fire occurred in the electric car before it reached the multi-storey residential building. The causes of the incident are being clarified, however, based on previous experience, the main reason could be a technical malfunction or a battery failure.

The public and neighborhood residents were reminded to be cautious in such situations and strictly follow safety rules. Such fires can negatively affect not only property but also the environment.

In addition, the Emergency Situations Department announced plans to strengthen security measures around buildings and vehicles in the future. Residents are encouraged to use fire alarms, safe parking areas, and constantly monitor battery conditions.

Although the incident lasted only a few minutes, thanks to prompt and effective actions, there were no casualties, which was a successful outcome. This case once again reminded city residents of the need to seriously observe safety rules when using electric cars and various technical devices.
