The situation, which caused widespread discussion on social networks, was identified in the Fergana region, the regional department of the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change reported. It turned out that the video footage shows snakes and hedgehogs used in an unusually prepared soup.
The Environmental Control Inspection and the 1st Regional Patrol Service immediately investigated the situation. The results of the investigation were received in a state of shock - it turned out that in the "Zilha" mahalla of the Altyaryk district and the "Boston bo'vo" mahalla of the Buvayda district, in sandy areas, individuals were engaged in the sale of food prepared from protected and rare animals.
In particular, important species for biodiversity, such as snakes and hedgehogs, were illegally captured and kept, from which soup was made and sold for a fee. According to environmentalists, such actions seriously violate not only the laws of nature, but also the ecological balance.
In this regard, all relevant documents related to this violation were drawn up and submitted to the judicial authorities for establishing administrative liability for the offenders. Now, within the framework of court proceedings, these individuals are expected to answer for their actions.
