On August 9 of this year, law enforcement agencies held regular preventive measures in the Namangan region. During this process, a serious violation was identified at the "Namangan" regular traffic police post located in the "Kushminor" mahalla of the Pap district.
According to reports, officers of the Pop District Department of Internal Affairs and the Road Safety Department stopped and inspected a Nexia-3 vehicle traveling on the "Vodiy-Tashkent" route. This vehicle was under the control of citizen I.T. During the inspection, a suspicious situation of a person traveling as a passenger in a car caught attention.
The passenger, M.A., born in 2000, residing in Fergana, was asked to show his documents. At that time, during a special examination, a substance called "hashish" weighing 0.25 grams was discovered near him. It turned out that this substance belongs to the category of narcotic drugs.
Law enforcement agencies immediately took legal action in connection with this situation. The Investigative Department under the Pop District Department of Internal Affairs initiated a criminal case under part 1 of Article 276 ("Illegal possession or transportation of narcotic substances") of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
