A tragic incident that occurred in the Kashkadarya region has shocked the public. On September 1, at approximately 1:00 PM, a serious and horrific crime took place in the "Yangi Qishloq" neighborhood of Shahrisabz district.
According to preliminary information, a 33-year-old woman quarreled with her mother-in-law during a family dispute. The conflict escalated in the kitchen, and the daughter-in-law used a kitchen knife to inflict serious bodily harm. As a result, the mother-in-law died at the scene from severe injuries, not just temporarily.
After committing the crime, the suspect voluntarily went to the internal affairs department, openly confessed to what she had done, and fully admitted her guilt. Investigative bodies are currently clarifying all aspects of the incident and studying the causes within the framework of the investigation.
According to legislation, this type of premeditated murder is assessed in accordance with Article 97 of the Criminal Code. In connection with the situation, the woman was detained and taken into custody. Local lawyers note that the suspect could face a sentence of 10 to 15 years imprisonment.

They emphasize the need to be vigilant and take preventive measures against such incidents arising from family conflicts.
