A woman living in the Sergeli district of Tashkent stabbed her 7-year-old daughter, born in 2018, to death. This incident caused great concern in the local community.
According to sources, the girl was admitted to the 1st grade of the school this year and was able to enter the educational process only for a week.
It turned out that this woman had previously experienced mental health problems and a state of nervousness. According to a representative of the mahalla citizens' assembly, the woman was discharged from the psychiatric hospital on August 2 of this year and was placed under dispensary observation on the same day.
On the day of the incident, the deceased girl's mother aroused suspicion among those around her with her unfamiliar and strange behavior. Under the influence of these unusual actions, the woman stabbed her child. The girl died at the scene from her injuries.
Currently, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 97 of the Criminal Code (premeditated murder). The suspect was detained in accordance with procedural order, and the preliminary investigation is actively ongoing.
