Fire Breaks Out at Pipe Plant in Tashkent

Today, September 11, a fire broke out at a plastic pipe manufacturing workshop located in Yakkasaroy district of Tashkent, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.

According to official data, the fire was reported at 12:40 p.m. from the facility on Kushbegi Street. Fire and rescue units arrived at the scene at 12:46 p.m.

The fire was fully contained by 1:08 p.m. and completely extinguished by 1:15 p.m. Due to swift response, further spread of the fire was prevented. No injuries have been reported.

The Minister of Emergency Situations personally arrived at the site, and the leadership of the Tashkent city emergency services took control. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
