A court verdict has been announced regarding the tragedy that occurred in Koson district of Kashkadarya region and shocked the entire public.
On June 20, 2024, a two-year-old girl died as a result of negligence by Lola Khaknazarova, the director of a private kindergarten that took children to kindergarten in a Spark car from the Ushoktepa neighborhood. According to court documents, the child was trapped in a closed car for many hours and died due to shortness of breath.
It became known that 31-year-old Haknazarova launched a private kindergarten in 2024 and has been managing it. She accepted the child into kindergarten at the mother's request, even though he wasn't suitable for his age. On the same day, he gathered seven children from their homes and brought them to kindergarten, but during the unloading process, he forgot the two-year-old girl in the back seat of the car.
The girl died sadly after spending hours in a closed salon in the hot weather.
During the trial, the defendant admitted his guilt and commented on the incident. According to him, two of the children distracted him, so he forgot to check the rest completely. It was also noted that the kindergarten teacher did not come to work that day, and all the responsibility fell on her.
The mother of the deceased girl spoke in court, stating that nothing could justify the director's disrespect and irresponsibility and demanding legal action.
Ultimately, the court found Lola Khaknazarova guilty under Article 116, Part 3 of the Criminal Code and sentenced her to 3 years of imprisonment. The sentence is served in a settlement colony.
