A delegation led by the Director General of the prestigious Indian ERA University, Ali Khan, paid a working visit to Uzbekistan and held important meetings at the Andijan State Medical Institute (ADTI). This visit was memorable for identifying new areas of cooperation and taking practical steps in the field of medical education.
During the negotiations, the prospects for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation between the medical education systems of the two countries were discussed. In particular, issues of student and teacher exchange programs, further improvement of the simulation education system, support for scientific projects, and implementation of joint initiatives were put on the agenda.
At the end of the meeting, an important agreement was signed. According to it, Uzbek students and teachers will have the opportunity to participate in internships at one of India's leading clinics. This creates the basis for enriching their professional experience and forming as specialists with international practice in the field of medicine.
The Indian guests familiarized themselves with the clinical base and the activities of the modern simulation center of ADTI. They also met with Indian youth studying at the institute and observed their learning process.
The ERA University delegation's trip was not limited to Andijan. A number of meetings were also held in Nukus, where issues of implementing joint projects and new initiatives were discussed.
It is expected that this visit will further strengthen ties between the two countries in the field of medical education and practice, and lay the foundation for new joint programs and areas of cooperation.
