In the Baghdad district of the Fergana region, the driver of a Tracker hit a cyclist. The incident occurred around 4:30 p.m., when a drunk driver, driving a car, hit a cyclist crossing an unregulated pedestrian crossing. Ruxsor TV reported this.
As a result, the cyclist died at the scene. Following this, a criminal case was initiated and reviewed by the Baghdad District Court. The court found the driver guilty under part 2 of Article 266 of the Criminal Code.
According to the court verdict, the driver was sentenced to 4 years in prison. He was also deprived of the right to drive a vehicle for 3 years. The sentence is served in a settlement colony.
