Non-material enforcement cases are always in focus
Unfortunately, various situations can occur in life. Divorce not only brings emotional challenges but also material difficulties. In particular, reclaiming bridal trousseau can sometimes become a serious problem. However, such issues are resolved under the protection of the law.

Recently, the Sharof Rashidov district branch of the Bureau of Compulsory Enforcement received an enforcement document from the Civil Affairs Court. According to it, after the divorce, it was mandated to return 35 types of personal property (bridal trousseau) from the house where the woman had lived as a bride to citizen L.P. in her favor.

The state bailiff initiated the work based on this enforcement document. Negotiations were held with the debtor, and necessary enforcement actions were undertaken. In the presence of witnesses, all 35 items of property listed in the document were inventoried and returned to the claimant—the bride.

As a result of the prompt and lawful actions of the Bureau's employees, the citizen was able to fully reclaim her legal property.

Moreover, the family members of the owner of a residential property, as well as persons residing permanently with them, have the right to use the rooms in the house on an equal basis with the owner, unless otherwise specified in writing at the time of relocation.

They also have the right to move their minor children into the living quarters provided by the owner. Even if such persons terminate their family relations with the owner of the residential property, their right to use the living quarters is retained (according to Article 32 of the Housing Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan).

On this basis, an enforcement document for the compulsory entry of citizen S.J. into the house in the city of Jizzakh was received for execution by the Jizzakh city branch of the Bureau.

The state bailiff, in cooperation with the head of the mahalla and responsible officials, carried out the enforcement action, ensuring the relocation of citizen S.J. into the specified house.

It should be emphasized that, according to legislation, failure to comply with the lawful demands of state bailiffs during enforcement actions or obstructing the performance of their duties, as well as non-fulfillment of enforcement documents by debtors and violation of legislation regarding the enforcement of court and other organ documents, entails liability.
