On October 7 of this year, at approximately 5:15 a.m., a traffic accident occurred in the city of Yangiyul, Tashkent region. This was reported by law enforcement agencies.
According to the information, a driver born in 1990, identified as N.N., was driving a Lacetti vehicle when, due to carelessness, he fell into a pit at the 26th kilometer of the M34 “Tashkent–Dushanbe” highway.
It is reported that construction work for an underground pedestrian crossing was underway in this area and appropriate road signs had been installed. However, the driver failed to notice them in time.
As a result of the incident, the driver and two passengers — X.D. (born in 1981) and A.Sh. (born in 1985) — sustained injuries of varying degrees and were taken to the Yangiyul City Medical Association.
Currently, pre-investigation inquiries are being carried out by the Yangiyul City Department of Internal Affairs regarding the incident. The authorities are investigating the exact causes of the accident.
Law enforcement agencies advise drivers to pay close attention to road signs and to be cautious when driving through construction areas.
