The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported that a 1-year-old baby, born in 2025, fell into a latrine pit in the Uychi district of the Namangan region.
The incident occurred on May 22 around 18:47 in the territory of the "Muborak" citizens' assembly. According to reports, the homeowner's son, born in 2025, was left unattended and fell into the latrine pit in the yard due to negligence.
Emergency rescue services were immediately called to the scene. Rescuers from the Ministry of Emergency Situations arrived quickly and began rescue operations. One of the rescuers climbed into the pit and carefully brought the baby out.
Afterward, the child received emergency medical care and was examined under the supervision of doctors. According to official information, the baby is currently in good condition and has been returned to his family.
Experts emphasize that such incidents often occur when children are left unattended and urge parents to be vigilant.
