In the Jizzakh region, large-scale efforts have been carried out by enforcement authorities to collect tax debts, giving new momentum to local economic activity. According to sources, the amount of funds returned to the state exceeded one billion soums, Gazeta.uz reported.
At present, tax discipline plays a decisive role in maintaining the stability of the state budget, and the growth of debt negatively affects not only local revenues but also the financing of education, healthcare, social protection, and infrastructure projects. Therefore, the activities of enforcement agencies in Jizzakh have attracted particular attention in recent months.
As a result of cooperation between the Gallaorol district department and tax authorities, the amount collected from legal entities and individuals has significantly increased. During the enforcement procedures, carried out based on court rulings and tax authority decisions, the property of debtors was seized, and in some cases, transferred to the state to cover outstanding debts.
Reports indicate that in just one district, more than 400 enforcement documents were processed, resulting in the recovery of over one billion soums in tax debt. In addition, property worth 500 million soums, consisting of 92 types of assets, was officially confiscated to cover the liabilities.
Experts emphasize that such measures not only protect the interests of the state budget but also help to strengthen the business environment. Timely tax payment has once again proven to be a key condition for economic stability and citizens’ well-being.
The cooperation between the Bureau and tax authorities will continue in the future. Specialists note that the goal of these efforts is not only to reduce debt but also to enhance citizens’ financial responsibility.
