Within the framework of the visit, it is planned to strengthen economic and strategic ties between the two countries, as well as discuss new areas of regional cooperation in the C5+1 format.
The US State Department stated that the delegation will hold meetings with government representatives not only in Uzbekistan but also in neighboring countries to discuss expanding cooperation in regional security, energy, and trade.

The agenda of the negotiations includes such issues as the development of economic ties, investment in the field of important minerals, energy security, and the discussion of a new stage of bilateral cooperation.
The Embassy stated the following in its statement:
"Prospective opportunities await the United States of America and Uzbekistan. We will continue a stable and mutually beneficial partnership with Uzbekistan."

As a reminder, Sergio Gore, during President Shavkat Mirziyoyev's official visit to Washington in September, spoke with Uzbek journalists and emphasized that "Donald Trump deeply respects the President of Uzbekistan and highly values relations between the two countries."
According to analysts, this visit signifies the transition to a new stage of relations between the USA and Uzbekistan. Cooperation in the field of minerals and energy is expected to further strengthen the strategic relations between the countries.
