MAN truck leaves 4 neighborhoods without gas in Parkent

In the Parkent district of Tashkent region, a MAN truck hit a high-pressure gas pipeline, the Ministry of Energy reported.

According to the ministry, the incident caused a gas leak, and for safety reasons, the supply of natural gas was temporarily stopped for more than 2,400 households and about 50 industrial facilities in the “Yoshlik,” “Markaziy,” “Guliston,” and “Oq tepa” neighborhoods.

Currently, the district gas supply department’s emergency teams are carrying out repair work. Specialists stated that once the malfunction is fixed, gas supply will be fully restored.

Officials apologized to residents for the temporary inconvenience and urged everyone to follow safety precautions.
